Angina (Cardiomyopathy) FAQs

Q: What is Angina?
A: Angina pectoris – commonly known as angina – is chest pain due to ischemia of the heart muscle, generally due to obstruction or spasm of the coronary arteries. The main cause of Angina pectoris is coronary artery disease, due to atherosclerosis of the arteries feeding the heart. The term derives from the Latin angina ("infection of the throat") from the Greek γχόνη ankhonē ("strangling"), and the Latin pectus ("chest"), and can therefore be translated as "a strangling feeling in the chest".

Q: What is Cardiomyopathy?
A: Cardiomyopathy (literally "heart muscle disease") is the measurable deterioration of the function of the myocardium (the heart muscle) for any reason, usually leading to heart failure; common symptoms are dyspnea (breathlessness) and peripheral edema (swelling of the legs). People with cardiomyopathy are often at risk of dangerous forms of irregular heart beat and sudden cardiac death.[1] The most common form of cardiomyopathy is dilated cardiomyopathy.

Q: I am a little confused about Nattokinase, if there is a blood clot, and Natto disolves it, could it no then detach and lodge somewhere else, cause a stroke or embolii?

Next question is safety taking both Natto and Serrapeptase?

Lastly, I suffer from angina, almost daily now. My doctors wanted me to have an angiogram, whcih I refused.

I was wondering that since the general concensus is that there is narrowing, which product should I take. The opinion of the doctors are that the angina (often
now, daily) are likely caused by narrowing. Six years ago, a scan showed three areas of small calcification on the circumflex of the heart. I reacted to
the contrast dye, and since, refused all medical interventions.

I have been taking Natto for about three weeks, now, and do not see much improvement.

I bought it from two different companies, and not sure if I am on the correct dosage.

My GP is supportive, and of course, I agree that if I should require emergency procedures, I would go ahead.

Meawhile, based on all I read, would you agree that Serrapeptase is a good choice, and if so, which is the highest safe dose I could start on?

Many thanks

Beebs F.
A: Hi,

Natto is only one of the things you need to get a healthy heart.

Q: I started taking Serrapeptase plus (40,000 i.u) as of Sept 4. You had instructed me to also drink 500 ml water with 1/2 teaspoon of baking soda six times a day. You recommendations were based on my problem of having chest pains (angina) on exertion. Later, I had mentioned that I also have frothy urine with protein ( + 2) for many many years now.

I felt quite good for the first 4 to 5 days but lately it appears that the progress has halted. Also, I have not been very good at drinking as much water as I should. First day I did 500 ml 6 times a day. Each day there after, I have not been able to keep up with the water intake. Last few days, it has been only 48 ounces. It may have to do with the fact that I am mostly sitting down and not doing too much physically. It's like a catch 22; doing physical things cause chest pains and fatigue and inactivity causes lack of thirst. My blood pressure reading today was 154/85, pulse 69. I also feel a constant heaviness, numbness and pressure in the head.

I will be needing to reorder the Serrapeptase in the next few days. I would like to know if I should continue to take the Serrapeptase plus with the water/baking soda. or something else. I am curious whether taking baking soda for extended periods will have any side effects?

Is it possible for me to have a brief conversation with you on the telephone? It would really help me to clear all the doubts and fears I have regarding my condition and it's treatment.

Thanks and regards,

Nasir S.
A: Nasir,

You urgently need to resolve this Angina. The heart muscle must be nourished with CoEnzyme q10. You need to take HySorbQ10 2 capsules x 2 times per day with food. This is the equivalent of 400mg of ordinary CoQ10.
Change to BlockBuster instead of just serrapeptase and take 2 x 3 times per day for the first month and then drop to 1 x 3.
Do you eat fish? Make sure you eat oil fish 4 time per week or take Fish Oil Or Krill Oil daily
Active Life contains 90 Vitamins and minerals and take 15ml x 2 times per day.
Did you stop eating starchy carbs as I suggested? I am sending food ideas in my next email.
Stay with the water.
Angina is serious and do not exercise or get anxious until you are on the above plan for 4 weeks. If you are an anxious person then take Relaxwell 1 x 3 times per day before eating.

Q: Please could you advise me on which Serrapeptase to purchase.  I have very low level angina but can avoid trouble if I live reasonably - not easy!  I take asprin and Ezetrol daily.  The more common statin caused me problems in feet and legs - Atenonol lowered my blood pressure too low.  I had one TIA three years ago, possibly caused by the Atenonol.  I am 69 years old.  I would be grateful to receive a reply from you.

A: SerraPlus+ should be fine but BlockBuster may be better. You may decide this is better than taking all of your drugs with their side effects. Diet change will also help but doctors do not have any training on proper foods and so may give wrong advice.

Q: Thank you very much - Blockbuster now being taken with Focus.  Do you have diet advice that you say the doctors can't give - I would like to hear what you have to recommend if you would be kind enough to reply.

Yours sincerely,

Jane W.
A: Jane,
This is in my book 'The Miracle Enzyme' but an overview is:
STOP all starchy carbs (breads, pastry, cookies, breakfast cereals, rice, potatoes, and pasta), processed foods and milk products.
Eat some of the following foods every 2 hours.
Eat 9-14 portions of fresh or frozen veggies daily (in soups, juiced, stir-fried, steamed etc) 50% raw
Eat 5 portions dark skinned fruits, (blueberries, cherries etc).
Wild fish most important and grass fed meats or chicken (only grass fed)
Omega 3 or Krill Oil and other healthy oils such as olive oil etc
Drink 8 x 500ml glasses of distilled or filtered water per day
Exercise every hour or so by lying on his back and cycling his legs in the air (someone could hold his feet). He can start with 10 seconds and build up to a minute

Q: Thank-you most kindly Robert!

I have never been so excited over a product in my life as I am Serrapeptase.  I have been on it for two weeks and it has taken my angina away.  I have had heart issues most of my life.  I'm 57 and have been on heart meds for 39 years.  Can you imagine?  The electrical part of my heart is faulty.  The heart is good, but not its function.  Not sure what the chest pain is all about, but Serrapeptase has stopped it.  Also, my fatigue is improving.  I used to be down in bed with Chronic Fatigue and Fibromyalgia.  I have an alternative medical doctor that has helped some over the years.  But....not as much as Serrapeptase has in two weeks!

Hubby is on Serrapeptase too!  He had the start of pneumonia which he's prone to.  In two days....Serrapeptase stopped it!  He's fine now!

I praise God for you, your awesome book and the products!   I have been buying your book at various places and giving them to people to read!  I totally believe in you and the
product!

Hugs from Wisconsin!

Q: Greetings, Robert:

I've been on this for over a year now, 2 capsules 3x daily. So far, I have not found any change in my angina or opened arteries. I'm more than a bit disappointed.

Warmest regards,

Eric B.
