Q: When You Have Asthma It’s important to:
|
A: 1. Take your asthma seriously. 2. Take your asthma medicines for asthma. 3. When asthma symptoms don’t stop, get help. 4. Know Your Asthma Symptoms 5. Work out a plan to get off the drugs and completely control Asthma without using drugs. Understand that drugs all have short term and long-term side effects and will shorten your life. |
|
|
Q: What causes Asthma?
|
A: The medical/pharmaceutical business would have you believe it is genetic/dust mites/pollution etc. that causes it, and that you have no other solution than to stay with the drugs. The alternative view is that diet causes allergic triggers and friendly bacteria deficiency is mainly to blame. Although it may be that some people have a genetic predisposition to getting Asthma, it is not a life sentence and proper corrective actions will keep it clear even in those people.
Common Asthma Triggers: · Allergic reactions · Vigorous exercise · Infections · Emotional stress and excitement · Cold Air · Occupational Dusts and Vapours · Air Pollution · Night-time Asthma · Household Products · Drugs
The common theme with all of these triggers is inflammation. This is borne out with the fact that the drug of choice, steroids, is an ant-inflammatory. |
|
|
Q: How can Serrapeptase help ?
|
A: Serrapeptase helps immensely as it clears out all of the inflammation, mucus and dead/ scar tissue. By clearing away this problem tissue, it enables the body’s own healing system to replace it with healthy tissue, with better bronchial/lung function as a result. |
|
|
Q: How many do I take?
|
A: Start with 2 Tablets of Serrapeptase x 3 times per day on an empty stomach and increase it to 4 x 3 if no relief within 7 days. Then gradually reduce to 1 x 1. |
|
|
Q: Can I take too many tablets or can it interfere with any drugs I am taking?
|
A: No. It has been used for over 25 years with no side effects reported. |
|
|
Q: I have a 21 month old grandson who has recently acquired severe asthma since having a respiratory infection at the end of May. The attacks keep reoccuring. He had no issues with his lungs before then. I wonder if this might work for him, since the serrapeptase seems to alleviate my own sinus and airways. But is he too young? If he can take it, how much should he use? Thanks.

A: Anita,
Yes he can take it. Open a SerraEnzyme 80,000iu capsule and divide it into 2 and put it on a spoon and let him wash it down with water. One part in morning before a meal and one part in the afternoon before a meal.
Also do the same with Prescript Assist. see it at www.Probiotic29.com
See them both at www.GoodHealthNaturally.com
I strongly suggest stopping cows milk products and only having sheeps or goats milk products. These are know to be better than cows milk. You can see my signature below and attached what I think of grains and cereals.

Q: I have Janet, and have healed beautifully from implementing supplements and a whole food organic diet. However, one thing remains, asthma. How much do I need to purchase per month to heal my lungs and how many mg's per day should I start with? I take no pharmaceutical drugs except I do have a rescue inhaler on hand. They have tried to prescribe steroids and inhalers but I refuse them. I believe in Natural Medicine exclusively and Allopathic is for emergencies just to keep one alive. Thanks.

A: Janet,
There are two things I recommend: 1st Line Immune kit to make sure the auto immune problems are completely resolved. I recommend 3 kits over 3 days (1 kit per day). Serranol - 1 capsules x 3 times per day, 30 mins before eating a meal to keep any inflammation in order.
Both of these are available via www.GoodHealthUSA.com in California.
PS I presume you have stopped eating all grains and cereals? |

Q: Robert, Thanks so much. I am a vegan, my diet everyday is a bit different, I make a green drink with fresh organic greens from my garden and the market, kale, spinach, dandelions, parsley, cucumber, and sometimes an apple or pear, or I drink a fresh glass of blueberries, strawberries, pineapple, banana, chia seeds, kiwi and any fruit in season and I add a scoop of chlorella, spirulina, wheat grass and alfalfa and vitamin C that I make with whole oranges and lemons dried and ground and I pick the alfalfa and dry and add both to the chlorella and, spriulona and wheat grass.
For lunch I have a vegan lunch with perhaps a bit of tofurkey and greens, tomatos, or hummus, cucumbers in an organic wrap. Should I eliminate the wrap too? I also drink water kefir and coconut kefir that I make. If I want a treat I have a rice cake with fresh raw almond butter mixed with coconut and coconut oil. I need to lose 35 lbs after being sick. My autoimmune has n't flared since I stopped the Pharmaceutical drugs i n 2007, November. I also detox with zeolite powder. But I have a hard time losing weight, is it the almonds? Please help! I need to and know my asthma would be better if I didn't have so much weight,. Thanks for your help. This time I am very serious. I am doing so much better every year I seem to get better and my immiune system is working for me by protecting me from colds!! It is awesome, but still need help losing weight and with my diet. Thanks, you are the greatest and help so many people!
Also I will add that last week I did have cereal (organic millet, quinoa all mixed together) is this bad? These are seed and seeds are good.

Your diet is tremendous.
I have marked in yellow the things that concern me. |

Q: It's the wheat then? So I should go totally gluten free? That is the hardest for me to give up. Can I make my own gluten free bread with coconut flour perhaps? I feel puffy when I eat rice cakes, What do u use to make a sandwich?
Thanks for all of your help! No more questions, I know u are busy!

A: Janet,
No grains or cereals. Seeds such as quinoa and buckwheat are fine. I don't eat sandwiches. I snack on avocados or nuts. eat salads etc. Cakes and cookies can be made with almond flour and coconut flour. |

Q: Robert,
I have one more concern and I am certain many folks state this. The cost of the 1st line is quite expensive, so i really can't afford both at this time. I was totally paralyzed with Churg Strauss Vasculitis and couldn;t walk or use my right hand and wasn't able to work at all. I even acquired foot drop, all was a shock. But I can walk now, drive and even ride my bicyclce as I have worked very hard to heal. I feel blessed as I just started to work again after not being able to work since 2006. I am so behind and it will take a while for me to be able to afford these supplements.
Let me ask, I am taking Moducare which is a plant sterol/sterolin for my immune system. I haven't been sick since 2010, use to regularly end up in ER during winter with pneumonia or bronchial asthma. I feel quite energetic but we had severe fires when we moved here and I believe it caused permanent lung damage as I never used a nebulizer before I moved here. I am using less and less but feel that I have lung scar tissue and that's why I felt the Serrapetase would help me to heal my lungs from all the coughing I did. Not as much now except I am supposed to be allergic to oaks (and I am surrounded by them). Also I was taking olive leaf extract that I made for mycoplasma as I felt that is what could very well be keeping the asthma alive. While I was taking I was given allergy tests (by allopathic Nurse Practitioner)and I was told In was allergic to olive? I never had any reaction to olives in my life! So I quit the olive leaf extract, but wonder if these blood tests are even accurate, because Olive leaf extract is really amazing and has helped my cough and so has pau d arco. Also told I was allergic to peanut butter, never had a reaction to that either, oak, elm and ragweed. Just another thought. I can afford to start taking the Serranol when I get paid.Right now can only work part time.
Anyway, your thoughts are appreciated.

A: Janet,
I have not much confidence in the blood tests. I would take the Olive Leaf and Moducare is good. If money is tight then consider SerraPlus+ for your lung scarring. All peanuts have mycotoxins and so they are not good. Make sure you keep of grains and cereals as well.
Please get back to me anytime you need help. |

Q: Really want to try serrapeptase for my asthma. BUT I have heard that if you take it with protein either the serra doesn't work as well or the protein won't? Does serrapeptase inhibit protein effectiveness? This is important to me because I am hypoglecemic and need a high protein diet. Thanks!

You have been mislead. It is taken 30mins before eating a meal on an empty stomach, with a glass of water.
Tell me what you want to treat with it and I can advise further. |

Q: Hi Robert
Thank you so much with all the information on fighting fibroids naturally, is it ok to use any gluten free recipes, for bread, and cakes made with brown sugar etc. The basic food and recovery plan is that for me to follow strictly for the onset of trying to shrink the fibroids? I assume this means no brown rice or wheat free pasta ie corn, or rice pasta......It is strange out of all people who should have fibroids , I am one of them...as I have always adhered to eating as healthy as possible as i did do a course in nutritional medicine 18 years ago, and since then used wholemeal pasta, rice, brown sugar, no processed food, goats milk, sometimes cows milk (organic in that case) but only for breakfast, or in coffee (decaf, in itself not healthy due to the decaffeinating process)lettuces and salad being my favourite food.....taking probiotics everyday for years, Vit C with bioflavanoids, multi vit, B supplements....recently Dr Schultz super food, no fried foods, never taking any antibiotics or drugs, even our children have not been vaccinated always using homeopathic remedies, seeing a homeopath for our problems rather than the GP.....On the main our diet was better than most, although not strictly as per the recovery plan. I am also taking progesterone cream since November, which at first gave me hot flushes, but within 10 days the fibroids shrunk by 4/ 5th for the whole month of December even my GP could not believe it, and then by the 11th Jan they grew again, and now i feel even more bloated than before, my abdomen looks so big. I don’t know what happened, I am really stunned. Hence why I started Serrapeptase (seventh wave) which i have taken for a month now, its a brand that is not enteric coated, an 80,000..I take 3 of them in the morning 30 mn before any food..Because I am so stringent about natural things as we don’t take any drugs, I opted for those, before I came across your website. (I am now confused about this matter too as phthalates are synthetic ingredients, but i don’t know much about this at all)
I am 50 and the last 4-5 years I started developing asthma, which only happens if I exhert myself, so spend weeks without any signs, the homeopath at the time thought it was more stress..I did have a car crash in 97 and a chronic cough since then, which stopped 5 years ago, and then had this asthma symptoms. Which can also be a symptom of estrogen dominance, since reading Dr Lee’s findings on that I started the progesterone cream, now the hot flushes i experienced when starting the cream have now stopped in January, at the same time as those fibroids grew again (there are 3 of them, the largest measuring 11cm)
Would they shrink through diet and supplements only or would I need to consider the artery embolisation ?
Also I came across another treatment focussed ultrasound at www.mrtherapycentre.com MRgFUS Cutting-edge treatment for fibroids via Magnetic Resonance-guided Focused Ultrasound (MRgFUS). Would you know anything about that ? or its success rates or testimonies?
Thank you so so much for all your help and advice. I truly appreciate it , as I feel quite upset with my present symptoms.
Best wishes.

A: Martine,
From your email my opinion is that your life will get better if you follow my diet plan. Organic wholegrains are not better than processed grains. Animals fed on organic wholegrains only live half their natural life span compared to animals fed on their natural diet. Milk is un-natural. I believe these are causing a fungal problem which is causing the asthma. |

Q: Robert,
Thank you for your reply. 1. I need to follow the basic food and recovery plan for how long, or is that a lifetime diet? 2. You have not really answered my other questions yet ? would you have any idea as to why the fibroids behaved in the way I described..could it be linked to the natural progesterone cream? 3. What about the serrapeptase, is it ok to stay with the brand I am using or would i need to change to the other? 4. I will have to make my diet different to the rest of the family hence why i was wondering how long I would be on such a strict regime.
Thank you once more for your help. Best wishes

A: #1. Only if you want a lifetime of Good Health. #2. It is impossible to know except by being on the full program. #3. You can take what you are taking alongside the BlockBuster. #4. You could tell them they can also have good health for life. |

Q: Dear Robert:
I have been taking serrapeptase 40,000 units for five years now. I have had cough variant asthma for 22 years and five years ago I went off steroid inhalers due to the depression the steroids were causing. My doctor tells me my asthma will become irreversible if I don't use the steroids. I have coughed daily for 22 years now. Steroids did nothing to lessen the cough. The serrapeptase does NOT lessen the cough, either, but I am hoping it will keep the inflammation down to prevent fibrosis is my lungs. I take two serrapeptase morning and night. In your opinion, is the serrapeptase preventing a gradual worsening of my asthma? Unfortunately, I have no way of knowing what serrapeptase is doing for my lungs. In the course of the past 22 years nothing has changed much in the character of my asthma, except that my peak flow has dropped from 300 to what it is presently at - 200 to 225 ml. I have not had any substantial drop since I have been on serrapeptase, unless I get sick with th! e flu or have a cold. I can live with the degree of airway restriction I presently have. I am hoping that by taking serrapeptase, my asthma won't continue to deteriorate and become irreversible, as the doctors threaten. I would appreciate any advice you can give me, and please inform me as to what dose you would recommend for long-term use. I am 65 years old. I am hoping serrapeptase will help keep my asthma stable and prevent any continual deterioration.

Q: Robert,
Thanks for the wealth of information. It was after reading “The Miracle Enzyme” that I started using serrapeptase five years ago. I am a registered nurse who is a great believer in nutrition and natural health. I should have met you 22 years ago when, after receiving my first flu shot, I rapidly developed cough-variant asthma. From now on you will definitely be my personal health coach! I’m very excited in knowing that I can do acupuncture on myself and husband, because the continual cost of visiting an acupuncturist can get very expensive. I really appreciate all the sites included below. I will read them all.
Incidently, at the age of 45 I had the drusen on my macula showing the beginning stages of dry macular degeneration, and my doctor never even bothered to tell me. About eight years ago I was given the diagnosis.
There are three succeeding generations of blindness in my family, so naturally I was very concerned. After a lot of research, I learned about the microcurrent stimulator seven years ago. After seven years of use, today both my macula look healthy without any signs of ARMD. Luckily I have been able, using the microcurrent stimulator daily, to reverse what could have robbed me of my eye sight. So, I am truly a believer in natural medicine.
Thanks again for all your information. I will sign up for your newsletter. I’m optimistic that I will be able to get my cough-variant asthma under much better control, thanks to you.
Very sincerely,
Darcy H.

Q: Greetings!
Edwina Lawrence suggested I write to you regrading the above. I have at her suggestion purchased the product called Serra Enzime from Good health Australia, I am in my second week of taking the product. I am 71 years of age and have been taking medication for high blood pressure and cholesterol for at least ten years.I also take serratide for asthma. I also take a range of products distributed by a company called mannatech which consists of anti oxidants and minerals named AO, PhytoMatrix, together with Fish Oil and Maculan I have the beginnings of macular degeneration. As a result of my brothers stroke while undergoing or following a heart bypass operation (He is presently Edwina's patient) .I underwent a series of tests and the conclusion was I was low risk . I do have difficulty observing the suggested half hour break on an empty stomach before meals. Does the research indicate that this is beneficial or is it simply a guess? I look forward to you reply.

A: Peter,
It can be an hour before eating but no less than 30mins. Eating lots of leafy green vegetables and tofu to get more Vitamin K in your diet. This is for your general health and eyes.
Stopping starchy carbs will also help your general health and eyesight. MaxiFocus is the supplement to reverse macular degeneration.

Q: Do you have any doctors that subscribe to serrapeptase usage? Does this product harm any weakened arteries or do anything when the blood carries this material to the brain? I have several medical issues (asthma, sleep apnoea, and general chest pain with high blood pressure). I need to know that the product will help me and not cause me any other problems that I don't need. Why don't we hear of this from doctors or someone stateside if this product does what it says? Please respond, I want to find something that helps.
Thanks.
